I also received this one. it is deceiving at first because it does not ask for any bank account or credit card info, but my local bank has a warning posted about these types of scams. always be wary if it comes from the UK and you did not enter it. I highly encourage anyone who receives this type of email to notify the FBI or do like i did, i reported it to the teller at my bank, who took all the information. They have a system for reporting this to authorities and were very happy to do it. Remember people, NOTHING is free, and if you didn't enter it you didn't win it!!!!

i usually dont believe in such kinds of luck win prize, but i thought as long as they dont ask for money i may write them back. i replied them with the general information they asked. they answered back with this kind of email:

i have contacted via email that person. in oder to make me feel sure that this is not a scam, he sent me a copy of his ID and contact nr.
after it i received the following email from the "lawyer":

I want to know one small thing.

How this frauds getting visa to travel india. What the rubbish work are Indian embassy doing in UK. I have done a big research on this.

My veiw entire fault is on indian govt. If they followed proper rules and regulation to provide visa means why this kind of things happen in India.

As per My knowledge lot of frauds residing in Mumbai and Delhi. They simply walking freely with the help of local indians.
