I also received this email, Googled the address in the letter and dicovered a William Clegg lived there. Also, if you google the law firm you will not find Richard Gilbert, QC listed at the firm , a similar phone number, any estate work done by the firm, or an address evern close to the one in the letter.

Total scam, obviously. Beware!!!

I got this letter today 10/29/08. I liked the company name that Jennifer Chambers workd for Allen & Overy LLP, I looked ata few other letters and see that their was a Alan & Organ LLP too. Where do they get these names??? they just crack me up.. Brian Amen, sent the letter too. Amen I didn't give them any info....

If anyone really has any money for you in this manner you'll get a phone call and visit from an executer. Even then I would wait until you have your own attorney review everything and advise you.

received the same e-mail. Interesting thing is that the law firm is real. I looked them up on the internet and forwarded the e-mail to them. I hope that they take whatever steps they can to not have their firms name dragged through the mud.

just received it today Sept 8, 2009- if you check the email address you will find out that it is from Hong Kong not United Kingdom... it's another scam therefore do not respond to it!!!
